Snow Removal Blues

Snow Removal Blues - a common story in this latitude.  Winters that seem to last forever, punctuated  with broken bones when you slip on that late winter ice after your car has been towed.  Songs about that.  And about other things too.  Just excuses really to turn up the volume and groove to a blues and rock influenced sound.  Hidden among the snowdrifts is a lingering essence of 60s and 70s influenced "pop" music that crept in. 

There are six of us: drums, bass, two guitars, sax, and vocalist/percussionist.  We play our own songs and those of others, such as Bowie, Talking Heads, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Alabama Shakes, Rolling Stones, the Allman Brothers, and of course, some blues classics. We started out as blues-rock band and somewhere along the way some funk and soul crept it.  Our original songs are a mix of rock, pop and blues. 

We are based out of the Twin Cities, regularly playing parties and clubs in the area, and one rained out unplugged show in Ely.  Have stage, will travel!
